With WrestleMania in the books for another year with a headline-grabbing show, UFC star Conor McGregor has talked trash about why he wasn’t there.
WrestleMania 38 lived up to its “stupendous” tagline as over two nights over 150,000 fans inside AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas were treated to thrilling matches, incredible surprises, and the spectacle that was Sami Zayn vs. Johnny Knoxville.
Now someone from the world of mixed martial arts who is no stranger to running his mouth, much like Zayn, has commented on why he wasn’t at The Showcase Of The Immortals. Former UFC Featherweight and Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor took to social media to reveal why he wasn’t at the event, saying “they” all fear him:
“Why wasn’t I at Wrestlemania? They all fear me, that’s why.”
The jibe prompted his compatriot and now former Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to respond, asking if McGregor was up for appearing next year when WrestleMania goes Hollywood:
“Hey man. I could have used you. Bianca brought an army. Next year?”

The army Becky Lynch was referring to was the Ocean Of Soul marching band from Texas Southern University that played The EST of WWE to the ring. Belair defeated Lynch to win the Raw Women’s Championship for the first time in her career, with surprising details emerging about the ring gear Belair wore for the bout.
