After posting a photo of his latest body progression, which is of a bulked up frame, Conor McGregor is drawing comparisons to “The Beast” Brock Lesnar. Some who have seen his picture are dubbing him a “lightweight Brock Lesnar.”

Currently, Conor McGregor is out of action from UFC due to a broken tibia he would suffer in a fight against Dustin Poirier back in the summer. As of right now, there is no set date for his return, nor an opponent. Despite the lack of brawling, however, there are a lot of updates about McGregor’s training and resulting physique. On social media, fans have pointed out how the former lightweight and featherweight champion has been getting stacked since being away from UFC.

Conor McGregor Becoming The New… Brock Lesnar?

Recently taking to Twitter, “The Notorious” is raising eyebrows around the world of combat sports. In the photo, Conor McGregor highlights how big his shoulders have gotten, as well as his biceps. Not just that, but his neck has gotten wider as well. One user @CherryRanger47 tweeted to McGregor, “What the f**k happened to your neck?,” with McGregor replying, “It got huge.”

Then, another tweeter would compare him to WWE‘s “The Beast” Brock Lesnar, who is a former UFC heavyweight champion at a weight of around 256 pounds. The user @methoonc tweeted, “You are like lightweight Brock Lesnar.”

It’s hard to exactly tell whether or not the tweeter was painting McGreogr in a positive light or taking a jab, but it was definitely a reference to the new look of McGregor, who has gotten a lot bigger since the last time he was active in UFC.

With the development of his new body, there’s already been a load of speculation swirling around McGregor that he could placed into the heavyweight level when he’s ready to make his return to professional fighting in the octagon.
