For better or for worse, Conor McGregor is known as one of the most outspoken and often controversial sports stars on the planet. His brash and cocky persona doesn’t sit well with some, while others embrace the star for living on his own terms. Even if that risks earning the wrath of Ronda Rousey.
Back in 2013, McGregor raised eyebrows on social media while responding to a message from a fan. The fan in questioned tweeted the Irish star asking “one night before the world ends…Ronda or Miesha?” McGregor replied – “One riidin d*ck, one lickin ma toessssss,” which is a quote from a song.
Conor McGregor Sends Apology To Ronda Rousey
The MMA star quickly realised the error in his ways and deleted his response before penning an apology to both Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. In response, Tate stated that she appreciated the apology but knew he was joking.
“I would like to personally apologize to both Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. This morning I quoted a song on Twitter in an attempt to make a joke, which I now I see was totally unacceptable and offensive. I have infinite respect for Miesha and Ronda as individuals and as athletes. I have always been a big fan of women’s MMA and the incredible talented athletes that compete in the sport. I regret making this offensive comment and I sincerely apologize to anyone whom I offended, but especially Ronda and Miesha.”
@TheNotoriousMMA its all good, appreciate the apology but I knew you were just joking!

Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate fought twice in MMA competition, first in Strikeforce and later UFC. On both occasions Rousey was victorious, while she was also the first woman ever signed by UFC.
In more recent years Rousey has transitioned into professional wrestling and again enjoyed enormous success. Ronda Rousey is the current SmackDown Women’s Champion and is set to defend her title against Shotzi at Survivor Series.
