TNA Wrestling made history at Slammiversary 2025. Congratulations are in order for the promotion.
TNA Wrestling first splashed onto the North American pro wrestling scene in 2002 and was a direct competitor to WWE. The promotion has since seen a lot of ups and downs, with it being renamed to IMPACT Wrestling as well. Total Nonstop Action Wrestling was founded by Jeff Jarrett and Jerry Jarrett and was initially known as NWA: Total Nonstop Action. It later went on to have a lot of big names in its midst, such as Sting, Jeff Hardy, Eric Bischoff, and Hulk Hogan, among others. The promotion also established major current legends such as AJ Styles and Samoa Joe.
TNA Wrestling has now made a new record.
TNA Wrestling sets attendance record
During Slammiversary 2025, the promotion revealed that their totla attendance was 7,623. The PPV, which is the promotions’ biggest in a calendar year, made history, as it became TNA’s largest crows in North America.
Emanating from the UBS Arena in New York, it was revealed that the company would be during the ongoing PPV. The promotion is currently in its 23rd year of running, with its last attendance record being set in 2013.
The promotion’s President issued a statement following the historic feat.
“This company has worked tirelessly since last December when it was announced that Slammiversary would be held at the UBS Arena,” said TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva. “To see a record-setting crowd at the UBS Arena was a milestone moment for TNA Wrestling that no one will ever forget.”
