With rumours of Sasha Banks’ time with WWE coming to an end swirling, a new report seemingly confirms that she has been released by the company.
Sasha Banks has been absent from WWE since walking out of an episode of Monday Night Raw alongside her tag team partner Naomi. According to a new report, however, the 6-time Women’s Champion may be done with the promotion altogether.
Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. reported that The Boss was released from her WWE contracts with later updates suggesting that Banks had a legal team working on her behalf to ensure her release.
Now WrestleVotes has reported that the word from SmackDown in Minneapolis that the initial report of Banks being released is true:

Sasha Banks and Naomi, had been scheduled to take part in a six-pack challenge on the May 16th edition of Raw to crown a new number one contender for the Raw Women’s Championship. However, following a disagreement over creative, Banks and Naomi turned in their WWE Women’s Tag Team Title belts and left the show.
WWE released a statement during the show criticising the pair and on the following episode of SmackDown, Michael Cole announced that the two women had been suspended indefinitely. Furthermore, they were stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.
Following the announcement of their suspension, WWE removed all Sasha Banks and Naomi merchandise from their online store, as well as taking them out of the WWE signature at the start of all programming.
