Cody Rhodes would love to have another match with brother Dustin Rhodes as his tag team partner.
The duo had a successful partnership while in WWE, capturing the tag team titles on two separate occasions in 2013 and 2014.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated, The American Nightmare believes that The Natural is more than deserving of a spot in the Hall of Fame, and would love to do the honours and induct his older brother. Rhodes would also express his want to reform the championship-winning team:
“I would like to induct Dustin into the Hall of Fame. I would also never turn down an opportunity to team with him again, and we’ve had an even better experience wrestling against each other.”
Following an unsatisfying match as opponents at Fastlane 2015, the brothers would compete against each other at the inaugural Double or Nothing event in 2019 to have the critically acclaimed contest that they had always dreamed of.
What Is The Name Of Cody Rhodes’ WWE Entrance Song?
Rhodes brought multiple aspects of The American Nightmare persona with him from AEW to WWE, which included the song Kingdom by Downstait. In a recent interview, Rhodes admitted that he had to fight WWE on still being able to use the song he had become associated with in other promotions.
In one of the most shocking departures from All Elite Wrestling, Cody Rhodes left the company he had helped build from the ground up in the spring of 2022, returning at WrestleMania 38 as a surprise opponent for Seth Rollins. The American Nightmare has admitted that he always knew that he would be back in the company, borrowing some backstage tricks from his old employer at early AEW shows.
