Cody Rhodes Would “Move Mountains” To Work With Arn Anderson Again

Cody Rhodes Would

Cody Rhodes, one of the prominent names in WWE, has expressed his willingness to welcome back his former coach and mentor, AEW’s Arn Anderson.

The relationship between Cody and Arn goes back several years, with Arn having worked closely with Cody’s father, the legendary Dusty Rhodes, in feuds between Dusty and Anderson’s legendary group The Four Horsemen in the 1980s.

More recently Anderson and Rhodes were involved in an infamous promo segment which has been dubbed the “glock” promo. The promo aired on the September 29th 2021 episode of AEW Dynamite.

During the promo, Anderson criticised Cody for his perceived lack of focus and determination in his feud with Malakai Black and mimicked pulling out a gun and aiming it at Rhodes.

In a recent interview with Sam Roberts on Notsam Wrestling, Cody was asked if he was aware of what Arn was going to say during the promo. While Cody didn’t explicitly confirm or deny his prior knowledge, he acknowledged the creative freedom given to Anderson due to his reputation in the industry. Cody said:

I didn’t know, and one of the best things about it, Tony Khan can tell you his version of this, it’s the same version. Arn said, ‘you want me to tell you what I’m going to say?’ I told him, ‘No, all good, just remember the thing at the end.’

Cody also spoke about Anderson and a possible reunion between the two, expressing a desire to have Anderson in a role as his manager in WWE. Cody said:

I love Arn, miss him, I would move a lot of things, move mountains, if the opportunity came up for Arn to show up and come to my aid one more time.
