AEW EVP Cody Rhodes was photographed with multiple WWE Superstars at the wedding of Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green.

Former WWE Superstars Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green had an extra special New Year’s Eve celebration as they were married on December 31, 2021. As would be expected, multiple wrestlers from various companies were in attendance at the wedding, and one of the groomsmen was none other than current TNT Champion Cody Rhodes.

Taking to his Instagram account, Cody Rhodes posted a photo of himself with fellow groomsmen that included the likes of current WWE Superstars The Miz and Dolph Ziggler, as well as former WWE wrestlers Brian Myers and John Morrison.

Rhodes has been friends with these men for years, spending plenty of time working with them during their various tenures with WWE. Cody also appeared with Cardona during the former Zack Ryder’s brief stint in AEW.

Since leaving WWE in April 2021, Chelsea Green has set about building herself an empire with a series of in-ring and non-wrestling projects. In the ring, Green has appeared for Ring of Honor, IMPACT, and NWA, winning the NWA Women’s Invitational Cup at EmPowerrr.

Outside of the ring, the former WWE star has launched her own podcast, an exclusive content page, and landed her first magazine cover. While she has been more than open about her love of Playboy, revealing that she posed topless at a casting call for the magazine before launching her wrestling career.

Matt Cardona had a year’s head start on his fiancée in his post-WWE life as he was released from the company in April 2020 but the former Zack Ryder has wasted no time in delving into a whole host of projects since then.

Cardona is co-host of the wildly successful Major Wrestling Figures Podcast with former tag team partner Brian Myers. He has also appeared for AEW as well as IMPACT Wrestling but surprisingly made the most impact when he captured the GCW Championship from King Of The Death Match, Nick Gage.
