Cody Rhodes To Address His WWE Future

Cody Rhodes Roman Reigns Paul Heyman WWE Raw

Following his crushing defeat at WrestleMania 39, and brutal beatdown at the hands of Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes has a lot to consider.

In the main event of the Hollywood spectacular, Rhodes took the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns to his limit and had victory in his sights. However, interference from the Enforcer Solo Sikoa resulted in Rhodes failing to dethrone the Tribal Chief.

It was an astounding defeat considering his storyline arch heading into the title bout. In the months leading to his championship challenge, Rhodes declared he returned to the company for one reason to win the title in honour of his father the legendary Dusty Rhodes.

With Rhodes emotionally proclaiming to “finish the story,” it seemed highly likely he would leave SoFi Stadium as the new champion, but that was not to be.

On the post-WrestleMania Monday Night Raw Rhodes looked to continue his feud with Reigns, joining forces with Brock Lesnar to take on the Head of the Table and Sikoa in a tag team main event. However, the ‘Beast’ shockingly turned on Rhodes with a brutal beatdown before the match even started.
