Cody Rhodes’ Entrance Theme Passes 1 Million Streams For 2022

Cody Rhodes returns to WWE

Following his sensational return to WWE at WrestleMania 38, Cody Rhodes’ entrance theme has reached an incredible 1 million streams on Spotify.

At WrestleMania 38, as Seth Rollins was waiting in the ring to find out who his mystery opponent would be on “The Grandest Stage Of Them All”, the lights in the AT&T Stadium went out and Downstait’s “Kingdom” started playing through the speakers, signifying the return of WWE’s ‘Prodigal Son’ Cody Rhodes who entered to a thunderous ovation from the crowd.

‘The American Nightmare’ had been using the song as his entrance theme since leaving WWE and it has been heard by fans in IMPACT Wrestling, ROH, NJPW, and, of course, AEW.

Now, Downstait have announced on Twitter that the song has surpassed an impressive 1 million streams in 2022 alone.

“”Kingdom” just passed 1 million streams on Spotify for 2022!! Thank you guys so much!!”

Rhodes congratulated the band on the achievement, noting that it’s been played everywhere he went and everywhere he will go.

“CONGRATULATIONS – damn song has been played everywhere I went and everywhere I will go.”

At WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes defeated Seth Rollins in a well-received match that received 4.5* from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer. The following night on Raw, Cody revealed that he had come back to WWE to do something his father, Dusty Rhodes, never achieved, capturing the WWE Championship.
