Cody Rhodes surprised darts ace Luke Littler with a special message.
Luke Littler is one of the hottest stars in darts right now, and ahead of his US Darts Masters debut in New York, he made a trip to WWE’s HQ for a tour of the building. While there, Littler got an unexpected message from Rhodes.
A clip from The American Nightmare was projected onto the HQ’s giant video wall, with Rhodes telling Littler he was a big fan and revealing he got an appreciation for darts from watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
“This is The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes, Undisputed WWE Champion. I heard you’re going to WWE HQ and getting a little tourski, I love it. I heard you’re a fan of WWE, I love that even more.
“My friend, we are fans of yours, I’m a fan of the darts game simply for the show Deep Space Nine. Bashir, Chief O’Brien, I know that’s a deep cut, maybe you’ve never even seen the show, but it gave me an appreciation of darts.
“Clearly have an appreciation of you as an athlete, a performer, and a competitor, my man you’re a champions champion. From one champion to another, Luke, my friend, see you down the road, too sweet.”
