Cody Rhodes made two fans’ visit to WWE Raw extra special.
The American Nightmare competed in the main event of the show, defeating Grayson Waller following Rhodes’ appearance on The Grayson Waller Effect at Elimination Chamber just 2 days prior. Following the victory, Paul Heyman made his way out to the ramp flanked by security, demanding that Rhodes change his intentions for WrestleMania. Rhodes, steel chair in hand and filled with rage, attacked Heyman’s guards to stand tall as the show went off the air.
While the night was over for everyone watching at home, Rhodes had one more piece of business to attend to in San Jose, California. Noticing a sign that said, “Cody are we having a boy or a girl?” Rhodes was handed the envelope and opened it to announce that the expectant couple would be having a boy. The American Nightmare also joked that the parents should not call the child Cody as it is a “terrible, redneck name”, adding that he hopes that the expectant child will return to a live WWE show in the future.

Following on from his victory at the Royal Rumble, Rhodes has already secured the main event of WrestleMania as he challenges Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Championship one more time. However, from the events that were seen at Elimination Chamber, which saw Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins lay out a challenge to The Bloodline, it appears that The American Nightmare will be competing more than once at the biggest show of the year.
