Cody Rhodes Confronts Seth Rollins; Saves Former WWE Champion Before Huge Match

Cody Rhodes

Tonight’s episode of WWE RAW ended in chaos as Cody Rhodes confronted Seth Rollins, saving a former WWE Champion.

The main event on RAW saw a Fatal Four Way in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. The match saw Jey Uso, Sheamus, Rusev, and Bronson Reed face off for a spot in the semi-final. It was a hard-fought match, filled with chaos.

However, after interferences from the likes of Sami Zayn, Penta, and SmackDown’s LA Knight, it was Jey Uso who came out on top. Unfortunately, though, it didn’t end there, as a furious Seth Rollins came out looking ready to beat down an already battered and bruised Uso.

Luckily, things didn’t escalate to that, as Cody Rhodes came out, much to the surprise of everyone in Green Bay, to confront The Visionary and stop him from attacking his good friend.

Cody Rhodes’ last-minute save proves his dedication to his good friend and former tag team partner. Now, though, he must cast that aside. After all, he goes head-to-head with Jey Uso next week in the King of the Ring tournament.

Cody Rhodes will have to face another one of his friends if he wins the semi-finals

The King of the Ring tournament has become a lot more difficult for Cody Rhodes. Not only does The American Nightmare have to face Jey Uso in the semi-final, but should he succeed in defeating him, another one of his friends will await him in the finals.

While he is taking on The Main Event, Sami Zayn and Randy Orton will also be doing battle for the other finals spot in the tournament. With that in mind, the road forward becomes obvious for Rhodes, as he will be forced to defeat his closest allies.

However, that is the price he will have to pay if he wants to become Undisputed WWE Champion once again.
