Cody Rhodes will face a huge challenge at WWE SummerSlam.
On the July 12th edition of SmackDown, Solo Sikoa led his new Bloodline to the ring. After claiming he would make Roman Reigns acknowledge him as the Tribal Chief if he ever returned, Sikoa turned his attention to Cody Rhodes.
Before he could get a word out though, Rhodes made his way to the ring. The American Nightmare told Sikoa they “want the same thing,” a match at SummerSlam with the Undisputed WWE Title on the line.
“Now, of course, gotta speak to Nick Aldis, but you might as well consider it official. SummerSlam, the Undisputed WWE Championship…
“But, if it was really up to me, if I could make any decision, I wouldn’t be waiting until SummerSlam. I’d wanna do it here and now.”
With that, The Bloodline surrounded Rhodes and a beatdown ensued. Randy Orton ran to the ring to make the save, but Jacob Fatu took The Viper down and Orton became another Bloodline victim.
With Rhodes being forced to watch, the group attacked Orton with steel steps before hitting a Triple Powerbomb through the announce table to close the show.
Candice LeRae Is One Of Strongest Stars Cody Rhodes Has Faced
Cody Rhodes has surprisingly named Candice LeRae as one of the strongest stars he has been in the ring with. The star recalled facing the Poison Pixie on the indies, where she shocked him with a suplex that “threw him through the roof.” The star joked that she is one of the strongest he’s faced, with the other being Brock Lesnar.
