Will Cody Rhodes have a special entrance at the WWE Bad Blood PLE?

After weeks of buildup, fans will finally witness the shocking pair-up between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood tomorrow night in Atlanta, Georgia. The two stalwarts are set to take on Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa in tag-team action.

However, Cody Rhodes is also heavily rumored to feature in a special entrance organized by the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff band. The band went viral several weeks ago over their rendition of the ‘Kingdom’ song on X (Twitter) during The University of Arkansas Pine Bluff vs University of Arkansas game.

Recently, during an interview with Billboard, The American Nightmare opened up on the possibility of this special entrance.

You mentioned the band (University of Arkansas Pine Bluff). They played that on primetime when they played Arkansas, and it’s quite possible you might see them playing it live in the State Farm Arena at Bad Blood. That was incredibly touching. In terms of your question, I’m always so careful about how I answer because the truth is, I don’t know. I just want to do all I can to keep it going. That’s such an honor.”

Their performance went viral and even the University’s director of bands John Graham spoke to ESPN after the moment.

When our arranger put the song on paper for us, I looked at it [and] some of the students were shaking their heads thinking, ‘No, why are we playing this’ and then we started rehearsing it, the piece came alive. I said, ‘This is going to go. As soon as I dropped the hammer and we started playing, I looked over and saw fans reacting like, ‘They’re playing “Kingdom,’” Graham continued. “I saw them standing up with excitement and positive reactions, and I told myself, ‘We’re in here now.’ It was a beautiful moment.”

Cody Rhodes Opens Up On WWE’s Decision To Reduce Live Events

In an interview with Josh Martinez of Superstar Crossover, Cody Rhodes discussed WWE’s decision to reduce the promotion’s live events.

“Pros and cons. Pro is more time for rest and recovery. Modern WWE with all the medical protocols that exist, in terms of to have the best nutrition, to have the mental clarity and focus to be dialed in physically, we still very much are a, I guess toxic to a degree, there is a vanity element to professional wrestling and sports entertainment.

In terms of everyone’s preparation, that’s a good thing. In terms of being able to get that mental clarity and getting your time at home, but also be able to be locked in on work. To be able to get the best nutrition, the best recovery, especially.”
