CM Punk Shoots On Adam Page After AEW Collision Goes Off Air

CM Punk‘s issues with Hangman Adam Page are well-documented.

The ‘Real World Champion’s problems with Page stem from a promo back in 2022 where Punk has claimed the Hangman went off-script to insult him and imply that he got Colt Cabana fired.

In an interview in July 2023, the Second City Saint went further, saying he felt Page tried to legitimately hurt him during their match at the previous year’s Double Or Nothing and that the incident “poisoned everything” for the star.

Now, he has taken another shot at Page. Taking to the mic after Collision went off air, Punk noticed a pro-Hangman sign in the audience and proceeded to rip the former World Champion for his merchandise sales.

“Hello, North Carolina. What is this? Huh? What is this? Look at this. ‘Carolina is Hangman Country.’ Earlier today, I went to a local supermarket and I figured out why they call him Hangman is because the pegs in the Toy aisle are full of Hangman action figures. ‘Cause nobody wants to buy ’em. He’s a peg warmer, unlike me who moves merchandise and pops ratings and sells toys.”

He went on to try to make a point about people saying they’re the “heart, soul, and spirit” of the company, but got lost halfway through and admitted he had been “rocked” in his mathc against House of Black.

“We got everybody in AEW saying, ‘I’m the heart, I am the soul. I am the spirit.’ Well, that’s objective. What is a fact is the people who say that certainly aren’t the chin of AEW because the lights go out faster than what? GTS, go to sleep. I don’t know what I’m trying to do. I got rocked, too. I told the House, House of Black no chops, and they chopped me, so I’m very mad.”

In recent news, Dave Meltzer revealed that Adam Page was refused entry to the AEW Collision venue.

Recently it was confirmed that CM Punk has apologised to Adam Page over the comments he made.

The main event of Collision saw Punk and FTR challenging The House of Black for the AEW Trios Championship. After a back and forth battle, CMFTR looked to be on the verge of victory with a trios Shatter Machine. However, the fight spilled onto the outside and all six men engaged in a brawl.

During the chaos, Samoa Joe appeared and dragged Punk to the side, choking him out. This allowed Brody King to hit a huge Discus Lariat on Dax Harwood for the pinfall win to retaint the titles.
