CM Punk has a three-word message for Gunther regarding their match at WWE SummerSlam.
WWE SummerSlam is just around the corner, and one of the biggest matches of the two-night event is Gunther versus CM Punk. The Best in the World is once again trying to get his hands on the World Heavyweight Championship, and this time he goes head-to-head with the Ring General.
In the build-up to the match, both men have had their fair share of things to say. On this week’s episode of RAW, Gunther made it clear that he will expose Punk at SummerSlam and prove that he is not the “Best in the World.” In fact, it was quite a surprising segment, seeing as Punk didn’t even utter a word.
Well, he has seemingly responded now with a three-word message via his Instagram story. He shared a picture from his intense face-off with the Austrian superstar and made it clear that he “needs this.”

It all goes down at the Biggest Party of the Summer, where fans will surely be watching closely to finally see if CM Punk can win the big one.
CM Punk is already looking ahead to Crown Jewel 2025
CM Punk hasn’t made it to SummerSlam yet, but he is already looking towards the future. Regardless of whether he becomes champion or not, The Voice of the Voiceless is looking forward to WWE’s upcoming show in Perth, Australia, Crown Jewel.
While on tour to promote WWE: Unreal, Punk was asked about the show in the Land Down Under. He revealed that he hopes to perform at the event, seeing as he missed out when the Stamford-based promotion visited in 2024 for Elimination Chamber.
It would certainly be interesting to see if the 46-year-old is included in the match card for the event, and if so, whether he will be walking into the RAC Arena as World Heavyweight Champion or not.
