CM Punk “Lunged” At Tony Khan During AEW All In

CM Punk

Dave Meltzer delved into the physical altercation that took place between CM Punk and Jack Perry at AEW All In. Meltzer provided multiple accounts of the incident from various sources who were present at the scene.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer wrote that according to one source, the altercation reportedly started when Punk sucker punched Perry and attempted to put him in a chokehold.

That person said Perry said he was just looking to get heat as a heel. Punk shoved him hard, Perry got in his face and in that version Punk sucker punched him and went for a choke.

Witnessing the altercation, AEW owner Tony Khan quickly intervened, shouting at Punk to release Perry. Once separated, Punk turned his aggression towards Khan and attempted to lunge at him – although Meltzer has since claimed “lunged” was an understatement. However, several individuals at the scene managed to restrain Punk before any further escalation occurred. Throughout the confrontation, CM Punk was heard repeatedly shouting “I Quit” at Khan.

People immediately broke it up and Khan was yelling at Punk to let him go. That person said that once they were separated, Punk lunged in Khan’s direction but a number of people got in his way while Punk was yelling “I Quit.”

The details surrounding the altercation remain somewhat murky, with conflicting reports emerging from different sources. However, Meltzer’s sources provided a vivid account of the heated exchange between Punk and Perry, shedding light on the intensity of the situation.

Who Else Did CM Punk Have Issues With At AEW All In?

It has been reported that CM Punk also had issues with Miro at the All In event. According to Bryan Alvarez Punk and Miro got into a heated exchange after Punk returned from his match with Samoa Joe. However, this report was later refuted by Nick Hausman on social media.
