CM Punk And Hook Clash In Post-Dynamite Dark Segment

CM Punk

CM Punk and Hook squared off after the May 11th episode of AEW Dynamite went off the air!

After the May 11th edition of AEW Dynamite, CM Punk and Hook ended up fighting much to the delight of the Long Island crowd.

In the post-show segment, CM Punk was confronted by Danhausen who tried to place a curse on him. Back in the ring, Punk tried to get Hook to shake his hand, but the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil had other plans. The undefeated star instead attacked Punk, hitting him with a T-Bone Suplex, before choking him out with his Redrum submission.

The interaction was met with a monster ovation after CM Punk had embraced his heelish side against hometown hero John Silver earlier in the night.

While Punk was roundly booed by the raucous crowd, Hook and Danhausen were greeted by returning heroes.

On the show, Danhausen made his in-ring debut against Tony Nese. However, the match proved to be a night to forget for the former Ring of Honor star as he was demolished by Nese in a matter of seconds. Nese caught Danhausen by surprise, delivering a running knee in the corner to score the win.

He then proceeded to deliver the knee twice more at the behest of Mark Sterling. At this, Hook came down to the ring a man on a mission, with Nese and Sterling beating a hasty retreat.

With their shared rivals out of the way, Hook and Danhausen shook hands in the middle of the ring to an incredible ovation.

HOOK-hausen is born.

It was announced later in the show that the pair will meet Nese and Sterling on the buy-in at Double or Nothing.
