CM Punk Posts Emotional Message To Fans

CM Punk sits in the ring

CM Punk has shared a heartfelt message with his fans, saying that he will treat every second he has in the ring like it’s his last.

CM Punk returned to the world of wrestling to much fanfare on the August 20th, 2021 episode of AEW Rampage. Before then, it had been over seven years since he had last stepped foot in the ring with his last appearance for WWE having been as a participant in the 2014 Royal Rumble.

Punk made his in-ring debut for AEW at All Out on September 5th, taking on and defeating rising star and former TNT Champion Darby Allin. Since then, he has been on an undefeated streak, racking up victories against the likes of Powerhouse Hobbs, Eddie Kingston, and Wardlow.

Taking to Twitter, Punk thanked fans for their support, saying that the time he’s had in the ring since joining AEW has been something he never thought he would get back.

“Everyday I’m in a ring, in front of a live audience, is time I never thought I’d have back. I treat ever second like it’s my last. Not sure how long I have left, but I will leave it all out there. Thanks to everyone who supports.”

CM Punk is currently embroiled in a feud with MJF and his faction, The Pinnacle. While he has taken out both Wardlow and Shawn Spears, he has not yet had the opportunity to step in the ring with MJF himself, although the two have had some intense battles on the mic in recent weeks.

Things will finally come to a head on the February 2nd episode of Dynamite, which will take place in Punk’s hometown of Chicago, where AEW has announced the pair will clash for the first time.
