CM Punk could be gone from AEW within hours as his future with All Elite Wrestling looks increasingly uncertain.
While it was argued that CM Punk arriving in AEW sparked a whole new interest in AEW, that spark has now created a fire that appears to be burning out of control.
Following his AEW World Title victory at All Out Punk spoke at the post-show media scrum where he launched into a tirade about how the story around Cabana was handled, hitting out at the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega while AEW President Tony Khan sat motionless just feet away.
The former WWE star also took aim at Adam Page and took shots at MJF, although it was unclear as to whether the comments about the later were in character.
After leaving the scrum there was a melee backstage involving Punk, his long-time friend Ace Steel, Omega and the Young Bucks. In the brawl Punk threw punches at the Bucks while Ace Steel threw a chair, before biting Omega.
