CM Punk paid tribute to two female WWE stars on account of their 15th anniversary in the business, but also called them “vampires.”
Naomi and AJ Lee started as “rookie divas” in NXT. While Lee’s climb up the top of the women’s division happened faster than Naomi’s, AJ Lee ended up retiring in 2015. On the contrary, the former Women’s World Champion experienced low points in her career, even walking out of WWE in 2022 with the former Sasha Banks.
Both women reinvented themselves later, with Naomi working for TNA while Banks became Mercedes Mone and is currently signed to AEW. The Glow returned to WWE in 2024 and has since scratched and clawed to find herself in the main event scene, a little over a year later.
Meanwhile, AJ Lee is back for another run in WWE as of September 5, 2025, although Naomi is temporarily taking time off after announcing her pregnancy before going on a hiatus.

AJ Lee’s husband, CM Punk, introduced her in a way before her comeback on SmackDown this past Friday. The Best in the World is reportedly slated to work with his wife in a wrestling match against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch soon. Meanwhile, the Chicago native shared Naomi and AJ Lee’s photos from their days as “rookie divas” in NXT.
CM Punk pointed out that the two females have remained “beauts” after all these years, astonished by how well they have ages and maintained their looks and physique.
“Happy 15th anniversary of the debut of these two beauts. Stay away from them, as they are obviously vampires,” Punk wrote.
AJ Lee’s comeback was something fans have been clamoring for years. Word on the rumor mill is that The Black Widow will be around for a bit, as she even teased challenging for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Lee also made headlines recently after a former WWE star made some controversial comments about her.
