Less than a week after causing a stir with a visit to WWE Raw, CM Punk has now been seen backstage at the latest IMPACT Wrestling tapings.
During his trip to Raw, Punk was said to have “cleared the air” with The Miz, who he has previously clashed with on social media. He is also said to have spent some time with Chief Content Officer, Triple H and was “greeted warmly” by other talent. However, the visit was cut short when the star was told he wouldn’t be able to stay.
Now, the Second City Saint has made another backstage appearance, this time at IMPACT Wrestling’s ‘Spring Slugfest’ tapings in Chicago on April 29th.
Photos of Punk arriving at the Cicero Stadium have been circulated online, with the star looking to be in good spirits as he was let into the venue.

This week’s events aren’t the only ones Punk has visited in recent months. Back in February, he was seen watching NJPW’s Battle in the Valley from the stands.
CM Punk recently met with Chris Jericho ahead of reported AEW Return
On April 26th, Fightful Select reported that Punk and Chris Jericho had held their long-awaited meeting ahead of the star seemingly returning to AEW, potentially to headline the promotion’s new Saturday show, Collision.
The meeting was said to be relatively uneventful, but sources close to the situation say it went well enough that the two could agree to work together in the future. However, they also pointed to Punk’s volatile history as well as Jericho’s tendency to welcome confrontation as potential reasons for doubt.
