After more than a decade away, CM Punk returns for a major WWE event.
CM Punk has been experiencing a lot of firsts, just as many as a lot of recalls, after returning to WWE in 2023. After being away for almost a decade, The Best in the World had a lot of missed and outdated experiences. However, he has begun catching up with all of these, and another will occur soon in a foreign land.
In a recent post by WWE Japan on X (Twitter), it was shared that CM Punk will take part in the Super Show Japan tour on October 17 and 18. Other names advertised for the show are Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, LA Knight, AJ Styles, The New Day, Finn Balor, and Seth Rollins. Japanese stars Shinsuke Nakamura, Giulia, and IYO SKY are also expected.
The Best in the World has wrestled several times in the past. However, it will be his first time back in the country since RAW’s House Show on December 1, 2011, at the Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa, Japan. During this appearance, he successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Alberto Del Rio.

CM Punk Set To Compete In A Long-Awaited Tag Team Match Next Week
A lot of dream feuds and matches have finally occurred since CM Punk returned to the Stamford-based promotion in 2023. However, one dream that was pending for a while was the return of his wife and former Divas Champion, AJ Lee. However, fans don’t have to wait anymore after she returned earlier this month.
After Becky Lynch helped her husband, Seth Rollins, against Punk at Clash in Paris, The Best in the World found reinforcement by bringing back the former Divas Champion. Now that all four superstars have faced, exchanged words, and gotten physical, a tag team match between the wrestling couples is set for Wrestlepalooza next week on September 20.
