CM Punk has heaped praises on WWE’s women wrestlers.
Fresh off his first WrestleMania main-event, CM Punk recently opened up on his WWE colleagues. Despite losing Paul Heyman and suffering a loss at WrestleMania 41 triple threat against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, Punk has maintained his positive approach.
Speaking to Netflix, Punk heaped more praise on the promotion’s women and claimed that they often carry the show.
“The women are carrying the show a lot of times. I think Rhea Ripley is a Superstar. Liv Morgan had an MVP year [in 2024]. I like watching Gunther compete. I hate Dominik Mysterio, that’s neither here nor there. Guys I want to work with — Jacob Fatu. Got a little taste at WarGames, but one-on-one stuff is my bread and butter, [there’s] more pressure that way … Finn Bálor is fantastic. I selfishly want to lock back up with Rey Mysterio, teach him a lesson for having such a brat kid.”

While Punk, Rollins, and Reigns closed Night 1, Night 2 of WrestleMania 41 was main-evented by John Cena and Cody Rhodes. Although in a previous interview on the Masked Man Show, The Second City Saint had claimed that if it were up to him, then Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair vs Iyo Sky would have closed the show.
CM Punk Has Confirmed His Upcoming TV And Movie Roles
Speaking with Rosie Cordero of Deadline, CM Punk opened up on all of his upcoming television and movie roles.
“It’s a lot easier now. It was harder back in the day because wrestling was the lion’s share of what I did, and I wasn’t allowed to do other stuff. I have pre-existing relationships and projects I work on that are grandfathered into my contract. I typically do Monday Night Raw live on Netflix every week.
But if I need to dip out for two weeks to shoot an independent film, I can always do that. We’re trying to petition Netflix to do a third season of Heels. I have two projects coming down the line that I’m very excited about. One is the TV show Revival that will air on Syfy, and a really, really fun movie called Night Patrol, written and directed by Ryan Prows. I don’t want to give away too much but it’s night patrol, LAPD, Bloods, Crips, vampires.”
