CM Punk Addresses Meaning Of Bracelet Stolen By Drew McIntyre

CM Punk retrieves bracelet from Drew McIntyre at WWE Bash In Berlin

CM Punk has opened up about the meaning of the bracelet he finally took back from Drew McIntyre at WWE Bash In Berlin.

At Bash In Berlin, CM Punk finally defeated Drew McIntyre in a Strap Match. As he dragged McIntyre tot he four corners, Punk took the time to retrieve the bracelet featuring the names of his wife and dog, AJ Lee and Larry.

Speaking in a WWE Exclusive video after the show, Punk said it felt good to get the bracelet back, but explained that it’s what it represents that really matters.

“It feels good. A big deal has been made out of this, but it was really about the disrespect to my dog and my wife. I plan on going home and giving my dog and my wife a big hug and a kiss, maybe not in that order, but probably in that order, and move on to bigger and better things.”

Before his match against McIntyre, Punk says Lee told him to hurt The Scottish Warrior for messing with Larry.

“She told me, anytime it involves Larry, she tells me to ‘make sure you hurt them.’ Just like in the past, if anybody messes with my dog, I hurt them. I think I hurt Drew and I can hopefully move on. I have gold on my mind.”

CM Punk Is Finished With Drew McIntyre

CM Punk claims that the Strap Match was the end of his rivalry with Drew McIntyre. The star says his next step is to go after Gunther and the World Heavyweight Championship. Whether McIntyre has other plans remains to be seen.
