According to Claudio Castagnoli, many stars have said that the giant swing is their least favorite move to take in all of wrestling.
Claudio Castagnoli is known for his frightening feats of strength and agility when in the ring. His giant swing, which he’d used against many men, has wowed fans across the globe and helped the Swiss Superman garner a great deal of respect in the industry.
However, not everyone is too fond of the impressive move. During his appearance on “Insight with Chris Van Vliet,” the current ROH Champion discussed his opponents not being all that thrilled about being on the receiving end of the giant swing. Apparently, getting swung around multiple times is one of the least favorite things to do in wrestling.
“I’ve heard from many people that it is their least favorite move to take, and they absolutely hate it to the point where they refuse to take it. Because it makes them so dizzy, they hate it. I just tell them to relax, which I guess is the wrong thing to tell them.”
One of Claudio’s more impressive swings occurred a few weeks ago during AEW Blood and Guts. The Swiss Superman swung Chris Jericho on top of the hellish cage, something that frightened Jericho the moment Claudio had his arms hooked around his legs and realized how far up he was from the floor.
Claudio used the giant swing in his AEW debut match against Zack Sabre Jr. at Forbidden Door. The superstar has been on a roll as of late, capturing the ROH Championship and going on a tear on Dynamite and Rampage.
