Plenty of classic WWE content appears to be coming to Netflix as part of the company’s move to the streaming service early next year.
WWE’s highly-anticipated move to Netflix is just a few weeks away and with it comes the end of the WWE Network in all but a few countries. The closure of the company’s long-time streaming service has left some concerned about the availability of its classic content library going forward.
While the company has stated that “select programming and historic PLEs” will be available on the platform, it’s been unclear exactly how much of the Network’s library will be making the transition. Recently, however, fans appear to have gotten a glimpse in advance.
In the last few days, various Premium Live Events have begun appearing on Netflix UK and can be found by searching ‘WWE’ on the platform. Many classic PLEs like Evolution 2018, The Bash 2009, No Mercy 1999 and This Tuesday In Texas 1991 are listed as coming on January 1st 2025.
Interestingly, some shows, like Stomping Grounds 2019, are listed as coming in February 2025, suggesting that more content will be gradually released over time. More recent PLEs like this year’s Bad Blood and Survivor Series, as well as WrestleMania XL, are also listed on the service but do not currently have a release date.

A Frustrating Long-Time WWE Feature Will End In The Netflix Era
The Netflix Era is set to bring about a seismic change to WWE, with one such positive change being revealed in a recent report. With the move in January, episodes of Raw will always air live regardless of where they’re taking place.
For the March 31st episode of Raw that will take place in London next year, for example, this means the show will air live at 8 pm UK time, 3 pm on the US East Coast and 12 pm on the West Coast as opposed to airing everywhere at the US’ usual airing time on tape delay.
