Roman Reigns is the sole WWE Superstar featured in the poster of the upcoming international show, Clash in Paris, sparking speculation about his status for the Premium Live Event.
Before the poster was unveiled, Reigns was not expected to be part of the show. A temporary poster featured various stars, but not The Tribal Chief, who was out of action since the RAW after WrestleMania 41. He returned in time for SummerSlam, teaming up with Jey Uso in a winning effort against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
The rivalry between Reigns and Paul Heyman has become one of the most interesting aspects of WWE TV. This means the Tribal Chief could revisit his on-again, off-again feud with Seth Rollins, who became World Heavyweight Champion in the main event of SummerSlam Night 1.
It is also not out of the realm of possibility that Reigns continues to work with his cousin, as their first attempt at it worked out really well.
Roman Reigns Reportedly Will Be In Action At WWE Clash In Paris
Although Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed viciously attacked Roman Reigns on the RAW after SummerSlam, the angle was not used to write him off television. He will be part of Clash in Paris, but there is no word on what he will be doing exactly.
On WrestleVotes Radio, JoeyVotes noted that Reigns will be part of WWE programming in the immediate future, and that at Clash in Paris, it is not likely that he competes in a singles match. The expected one-on-one showdown between The Tribal Chief and The Visionary is something the company hopes to book in a special Premium Live Event down the line.
Amid speculation following the Clash in Paris poster release, Roman Reigns is indeed scheduled to be part of the premium live event later this month.
We’re told that decision came rather recently, as Reigns wasn’t involved in early creative plans—explaining his absence from the initial promotion. WWE’s biggest draw is now in the fold for France, as top ticket prices for the event are currently listed at roughly $3,900 USD (3301.50 €),” WrestleVotes wrote on X.
On the RAW after SummerSlam, Reigns, CM Punk, and LA Knight were all featured in the World Heavyweight title picture. Whether this leads to a multi-man match at Clash in Paris bears watching.
