WWE Bad Blood PLE is just two weeks away, and its main event has yet to be confirmed.
The card boasts several impressive matches, from Liv Morgan versus Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor versus Damian Priest, to CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre, and Cody Rhodes with Roman Reigns against Solo Sikoa, and Jacob Fatu. The card also features Nia Jax’s title defense against either Bayley or Naomi.
However, there have been several speculations about which star is going to close the night. With the heavily favored Hell in a Cell match between CM Punk and McIntyre, to the hometown hero Cody Rhodes against The Bloodline.
A new report from Fightful Select notes that the working plan internally was to have Rhodes and Reigns close the show against Sikoa and Fatu. The show is set to take place in Rhodes’ hometown and has a special entrance planned for Cody Rhodes. It also stated that Reigns’ connection could have played a role in the decision.
Over the weekend, USA Network suggested the main event to be The Second City Saint against The Scottish Psychopath based on the match’s stipulation. However, the PLE is still two weeks away, and anything can change. Although, as of now, The American Nightmare will close the night in Atlanta, Georgia.
