CJ Perry Reveals Her Sole Goal In AEW

WWE Lana CJ Perry

CJ Perry has made her intentions in All Elite Wrestling clear.

Formerly known as Lana in WWE, Perry made a shock appearance at AEW All Out in Chicago, making her way to the ring to stop her real-life husband Miro from a brutal beat down by Powerhouse Hobbs after the Bulgarian had defeated his massive opponent.

A steel chair shot from Perry to Hobbs did little damage but was enough to distract him long enough for Miro to recover and clear his angry foe from the squared circle. Instead of being grateful, the former TNT Champion left his wife standing in the ring with many wondering what was next for the pair.

Perry went some way to answering that question on the 9th September edition of AEW Collision, revealing that she wanted to return to her previous ways as a cold-hearted manager:

“You took the righteous road. You left me. You said you weren’t gonna return until you got gold. Miro, when you lost the TNT Championship, you lost yourself.

Last week at All Out, all I wanted to do was surprise you and prove that I have your back to help you become champion again.

God, you are so stubborn. Not the good stubborn, the bad stubborn. Now that I think about it, you truly have forsaken your god, your gold, and your hot, flexible wife.

Oh, Miro, you really want to go down this path? I respect that. But I’m gonna have to go down mine. I’m so torn, so torn. I sat on the sidelines for two years, tearing myself down, breaking myself apart, and asking myself do I have what it takes.

Every fabric of my being is yelling, ‘Don’t leave until you find out.’ I once was the coldest manager in all of wrestling, and I think I want to do it again.”

When Did CJ Perry Leave WWE?

CJ Perry was released by WWE in June 2021 after eight years with the company. Since her release Perry has focused on her acting career and also launched her own exclusive content site.
