Inside the Ropes is saddened to learn of the passing of Cindy Heenan, wife of the late Bobby Heenan.

Cynthia “Cindy” Heenan, the wife of the late WWE Hall of Famer Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, has sadly passed away. The news was broken on social media by former WCW announcer Mike Tenay, who is close friends with the Heenan family after working closely with Bobby in WCW.

“Sorry to report the passing of Cindy Heenan, an incredible wife, mother and grandmother. Her devotion and support for Bobby was unparalleled. Survived by daughter Jess, son in law John and grandkids Austin and Hannah. Our times with them were the happiest and most memorable.”

Cindy and Bobby Heenan married on June 21, 1978. When her husband was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2002, Cindy stood by his side and continued caring for him as his condition worsened over time due to medical complications from his cancer treatment. She cared for him until he sadly passed away in 2017.

Bobby “The Brain” Heenan is widely known as one of the most influential managers of all time, and he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004.

Inside the Ropes sends our deepest condolences to the friends and family of Cindy Heenan at this sad time.
