The ‘Ninth Wonder of the World’ Chyna will not be part of the third season of VICE’s popular documentary series, Dark Side of the Ring, as reported by Wrestling Inc. on their interview series “Documenting Chyna.”

It had been suggested by Chyna’s former manager, Anthony Anzaldo that the late WWE Superstar would be part of the series:

“They are putting it on VICE. It’s a Dark Side of The Ring two hour version. They want me so bad because they know the story isn’t told without me. I am not giving them the rights while they claim they still have the rights because I signed a release when I did my sit down.”

However, in response, Dark Side of The Ring producer, Evan Husney disputed Anzaldo’s claims:

“There are no plans for an episode about Chyna for the upcoming season of Dark Side of the Ring. At the start of pre-production earlier this year, we became aware of multiple projects that were currently in production about Chyna, and thus, we ultimately decided against pursuing this as a future subject.”

Chyna was a founding member of the influential faction, D-Generation X, with Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Rick Rude.

She famously became the first woman to compete in the Royal Rumble match and King of the Ring tournament.

Chyna is also the only woman in WWE history to have held the Intercontinental Championship.

She left WWE in the summer of 2001, whilst recognised as Women’s Champion, following a contract dispute. She never returned to the company in which she made her name and sadly passed away in 2016 at the age of 46.

The ‘Ninth Wonder of the World’ was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 as a part of D-Generation X.
