The rivalry between Christian and Jungle Boy Jack Perry appears to finally be reaching its end.
On the March 1st episode of AEW Dynamite, Christian was interviewed by Renee Paquette. Christian was quick to go after not just Jungle Boy, but his supporters as well. He lambasted Jungle Boy for claiming that he will win a singles championship in 2023. Christian mocked this statement and made the distinction between winning a championship and beating someone for one.
Then he went after Jack’s generation for treating pro wrestling like a video game whereas he (Christian Cage) treated it like an ATM and he wasn’t done cashing out.
Then Christian Cage game to his main point: he challenged Jungle Boy at AEW Revolution. Not to a wrestling match, but to a fight.
After laying down his challenge, Christina continued his verbal assault by going after Jungle Boy’s late father Luke Perry. He mocked the late actor for only achieving anything thanks to his “Hollywood good looks” as the crowd booed him louder and more viciously.
Jungle Boy accepts Christian Cage’s challenge in his own way on Dynamite
Jungle Boy was quick to answer Christian’s challenge, but not in person. Instead, the lights dimmed and a video appeared on screen. It showed Jungle Boy digging a grave, and then the camera showed a Tombstone with Christian Cage’s name on it. No more words were needed.
The feud between Jungle Boy Jack Perry and Christian Cage started back in June 2022 when Christian attacked Jack Perry after he and Luchasaurus lost the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Since Christian was injured, Jungle Boy feuded with Luchasaurus until Full Gear in November when he beat Luchasaurus in a steel cage match.
Aside from this new match, the remaining card for AEW Revolution is as follows:
