The Undertaker recently went turkey hunting, and naturally the wrestling world couldn’t let that moment pass without comment.
After hanging up his wrestling boots and finally being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, you could be forgiven for thinking The Undertaker might be struggling for things to do. However, fear not, as The Deadman now has time to indulge his love of hunting.
Posting on social media, The Phenom shared some photos of his latest exploits while out hunting turkeys.
Finally getting some down time….thanks to @todd_snader & the fine folks at @bowtecharchery for this awesome Revolt XL that can even handle my draw length comfortably!
The post drew hundreds of comments from fans and fellow wrestlers, some more serious than others. While one fan declared that the WWE legend was now the Hunter-Taker, another joked that the turkeys would soon be resting in peace.
AEW star Chris Jericho also got in on the action, writing “Where’s your scarf?” ‘Taker’s BSK buddy Rikishi commented “BBQ the Turkey tails #YokoStyle.” This is in reference to Yokozuna’s fondness for BBQed and deep-friend turkey tails.
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that The Undertaker will soon be launching a podcast under the WWE banner in the style of the Broken Skull Sessions.
“In a show similar to that of Broken Skull Sessions, Peacock & WWE have convinced The Undertaker to enter the podcasting world. Source states his new show should begin airing within the next few months. A fascinating concept that was unfathomable just a few years back.”
Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions stemmed from his own podcast and has seen the Texas Rattlesnake sit down with the likes of Vince McMahon, Brock Lesnar, Sasha Banks, and even AEW’s Chris Jericho as he teases stories out of his guests in his inimitable way.
