It has announced that Chris Jericho will defend his ROH World Championship for the first time against former champion Bandido.
Posting on social media AEW President Tony Khan has announced that Chris Jericho will be defending his newly won ROH World Championship on the September 28th edition of Dynamite.
Jericho won the gold at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam where he defeated Claudio Castagnoli. The victory not only meant that he won the title for the very first time, but he also became the first man to hold the WWE, AEW, ROH and WCW World Championships.
On September 28th the star will be taking on Bandido, who himself is a former ROH World Champion. Bandido won the championship back at Best In The World in 2021 before losing a unification bout at Supercard of Honor.

It has already been announced that Jon Moxley will be squaring off against Juice Robinson in an AEW World Championship eliminator match.
EW’s newest acquisition Saraya will also be appearing on the show to address her future following her shock debut at Dynamite Grand Slam.
Despite signing with AEW it has been reported that as of very recently the British star still hadn’t been medically cleared to return to the ring. The former Paige announced her retirement in 2018 after suffering a second serious neck injury in December 2017.
