Chris Jericho has bolding tipped one particular rising star to make it to the very top in AEW.
As a veteran of the squared circle and a man who was won numerous championships across multiple different promotions, Chris Jericho knows a thing or two about what it takes to be World Champion.
After all, he was WWE’s ‘first-ever’ Undisputed Champion defeating The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin in the same night.
Following the departure of Konosuke Takeshita after his four-month excursion in AEW, Jericho tipped the star to become World Champion on social media.

While Konosuke Takeshita might be a new name to Western audiences, he found a tremendous amount of success in his native Japan before ever arriving in AEW.
Upon joining DDT Pro Wrestling he was tipped as the future of the company, before becoming the youngest-ever KO-D Openweight Champion in history.
However following his four-month run in AEW, Takeshita’s stock is at an all-time high. During this period, the star has tangled with some of the best that the company has to offer. Although he may not have emerged with wins in his most high-profile bouts, Takeshita still pushed Jon Moxley, Hangman Adam Page and Claudio Castagnoli all the way. But he did sign off with a win, defeating Ryan Nemeth on Dark: Elevation.
As for Chris Jericho, he was most recently in action at the Quake by the Lake special edition of Dynamite where he challenged Jon Moxley for the Interim World Championship. The ‘Lionheart’ rolled back the years and turned in a performance which made a mockery of his veteran status in taking Moxley to the limit, although the bout did end in defeat.
