Chris Jericho Recreates Legendary WrestleMania Moment During AEW Grand Slam

Chris Jericho recreated one of his legendary WrestleMania moments on AEW Dynamite Grand Slam

The match saw Chris Jericho facing off against his protégé, Sammy Guevara, Jericho proved his prowess in the ring as he secured a pinfall victory over Guevara. Jericho countered Guevara’s shooting star press with his signature move, the codebreaker.

Following the match, Jericho and Guevara recreated a memorable spot from WrestleMania 19. In a twist of fate, Jericho embraced Guevara, reminiscent of his embrace with Shawn Michaels after their WrestleMania bout. However, history repeated itself in reverse for Jericho as Guevara delivered a low blow to Jericho, just as Jericho did to Michaels, solidifying his heel turn and leaving Jericho lying in the ring.

Following the low blow by Guevara, Don Callis walked down the ramp and into the ring and put his arm around Guevara who walked out of the arena with Callis as Jericho watched on while writhing in pain.
