Chris Jericho‘s new posts show a significant weight drop during his AEW break.
Fans last saw Chris Jericho on AEW programming during the April 9 episode in a segment with Bryan Keith and Big Bill, where he said he would leave for a while until they changed. Meanwhile, his latest match occurred at this year’s Dynasty event, where Bandido defeated him for the ROH World Championship. A lot has changed about the former champion since then.
In a recent social media post, Chris Jericho shows off a noticeable body transformation with a much leaner look. In the caption, he greeted the fans and announced his excitement about his appearance at the Washington State Summer Convention from June 20 to 22.
“Have a great week everybody! Make some cool s**t happen and see you all at @wasummercon this weekend!”

Since his AEW absence, Jericho has been touring with Kuarantine, a cover band for the 1970s hard rock band KISS. He also wrapped up a tour with his own band, Fozzy, in May.
Latest On Chris Jericho’s Status With AEW
Due to his lengthy absence, many fans began to wonder whether the former ROH World Champion is still All Elite. As per reports, Jericho is still very much with AEW.
Earlier this month, Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer Radio shared that there’s still nothing for Chris Jericho in terms of his AEW return, despite his tour with Fozzy coming to a close. Meltzer noted that the former champion has always been available to come back, but is most likely just taking a break.
“His Fozzy tour is over. So it’s like right now he’s done some TV work while he’s been gone, a couple of TV shows that were, he filmed, but, as far as, coming back to AEW there’s, you know, nothing on the table right now, but I think he’s you know, as far as is he ready and available? I mean, technically he’s always been available, even when he tours. Wednesday’s opened, but, you know, I think that he felt that it was time for a break. And so that’s that. So that’s the deal with them.”
It will be interesting to see when and where Chris Jericho will return to AEW.
