The main event of AEW Dynamite left Chris Jericho with a nasty looking injury!

Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston have been at odds for months, and in the main event of AEW Dynamite, they took their feud to a new level when they competed in a Barbed Wire Everywhere match.

In the end, Jericho was victorious over Eddie Kingston, but the Mad King got retribution over his foe when he put him through a barbed wire spider web after the match.

The bout was full of brutality and left both men bloodied, but despite his victory, Jericho may have gotten the worse of the exchange. The Painmaker revealed on social media that he’d suffered a broken nose as a result of Eddie Kingston holding a barbed wire-wrapped chair during a Codebreaker attempt.

“Just left the doctors office. It’s official….that SAVAGE @MadKing1981 broke my nose last night. #barbwireeverywhere @AEW”

AEW’s social media added to the story, showing a close up picture of Chris Jericho’s face following the bout, his nose clearly swollen and in pain.

“Despite winning last night’s Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match on #AEWDynamite : #FyterFest Night 3, along with cuts and bruises, @IAmJericho also suffered a broken nose at the hands of @MadKing1981 #EddieKingston. See highlights from all the action here – https://youtu.be/jzsYRdSPGng

Also during the main event, Anna Jay re-aligned herself with Tay Conti to aid Jericho in his defeat of Eddie Kingston by taking out Kingston’s friend Ruby Soho.

Elsewhere on AEW Dynamite, Jungle Boy returned after a long absence. Though he’d appeared to turn heel weeks ago in joining Christian Cage, Luchasaurus reunited with his tag team partner and Cage was chased through the arena.
