Chris Jericho Fires Back At Critics Of AEW All In

Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho believes that a number of fans will be left eating humble pie after AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.

AEW will be heading to the United Kingdom for the first time on August 27th. While the prevailing theory has always been that the promotion would debut at Craven Cottage, they’re going much bigger and heading to Wembley Stadium. Not only is the 90,000-seater stadium multiple times bigger than Fulham F.C’s Craven Cottage, but it’s also the biggest venue AEW has ever booked.

For reference, AEW’s biggest attendance to date is a little over 20,000 which came during their first visit to Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York in 2021.

Since the announcement arguments have erupted online about what crowd the event needs to attract in order to be a success. This is despite tickets not yet going on sale.

Posting on Twitter, Chris Jericho hit back at critics who have claimed that the event will flop.

“Makes me laugh when critics already proclaim @aew #AllIn at @wembleystadium a failure. Nobody has ANY idea how many tickets we will sell…except the fact checkers & promoters who’ve done their research. Once again, I expect a shitload of loudmouths to have their mouths SHUT!”

Chris Jericho was most recently in action on the April 12th episode of Dynamite where he defeated Keith Lee thanks to interference from Daniel Garcia and Swerve Strickland.

Chris Jericho Takes Dig At WWE Over Jay White

Jericho has been in a feisty mood of late, also taking a little shot at WWE after they failed to land Jay White. The former AEW World Champion said that WWE had White on a “silver platter” but he decided to join AEW instead.

White also appeared on the April 12th edition of Dynamite where he declared that Bullet Club Gold had arrived.
