Chelsea Green wants to achieve this major milestone.
WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green last year defeated Michin to win the first-ever women’s mid-card title at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Green has been one of the most improved stars in the past few years and has been at the receiving end of immense praise in the last few months.
Entering the acting industry with “Blue Ridge”, Green now wants to achieve this major accolade and join the same list as The Rock and John Cena. Speaking with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Green commented on hosting “Saturday Night Live”.
“I agree. That’s definitely on the bucket list is hosting SNL. I love it. I know I’m very self-deprecating, and that is where the humor comes from. It’s so fun to put that into verbiage and action in the ring to make people laugh on the biggest stage of them all.”

The Rock has hosted SNL a total of five times, while John Cena hosted the show in 2016. As the current women’s US Champion, Green now wants to cement her name in the same books as Cena and Johnson.
A Popular AEW Star Helped Chelsea Green With Her SmackDown Segment
During an appearance on MuscleManMalcolm Deonna Purrazzo was asked about her Chelsea Green’s title win. Purrazzo, while pretending to be jealous about it, revealed that she helped Green plan her celebration on the 27th December SmackDown episode.
“I’m jealous. Holy moly. I mean, I speak so highly of Chelsea. Obviously, everyone knows that’s my best friend. I don’t have a sister. If I had to liken my relationship to what it would be like to have a sister, that’s my sister. To watch her succeed means even more than myself succeeding because that’s who I’d want to give everything to if I couldn’t have it. Also, like, we’re talking about getting degrees, I have a history degree. I love US American history.
So to watch her embrace being the United States Champion, like using all the US history, US government history. She had a whole inauguration, which I loved, helping her put together, it was just so fun. I’m just so proud. I’m so proud. Amazing.”
