WWE star Chelsea Green has stated that anything can happen on the Road to WrestleMania, even a match with a member of the Hall of Fame.
With WrestleMania being the biggest show of the year, some stars from the past could likely make a cameo appearance over the course of the weekend. Last year at WrestleMania 40, legends The Undertaker and Bubba Ray Dudley factored into matches on the card while Rey Mysterio once again competed on The Grandest Stage.
At the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, Hall of Famer Nikki Bella made her return to the ring and has since teased more appearances in WWE. While speaking with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green was asked about a possible match against Bella:
“I’ve shared some words with Nikki Bella,’ she teased when we brought up the former champ. ‘I feel like… look. We’ve had a friendship for years, now maybe it is time to step in the ring and square off, face off. ‘I don’t know! Vegas and WrestleMania in Las Vegas is just so special, because I think anything could happen.
‘We really don’t know right now, we’re on the Road to WrestleMania! We don’t know where this is going to go, what storylines are going to be put into place. I feel like the people want it. So, should we give them what they want?”
Discussing Bella’s recent return at the Royal Rumble, Green stated that the former Women’s Champion looked amazing and is hoping to see her at WrestleMania even if the match does not materialise:
“She looks amazing. She’s been such a pivotal woman in this women’s evolution, and the Give Divas a Chance movement. She was kind of a trailblazer! So I just think having her back is, really, a gain all around for the women’s division. I mean, can you imagine if on April 19 or 20th, we saw Nikki Bella in Las Vegas, on the grandest stage of them all? I would be watching as a fan, whether I was in the ring with her or not.”
Chelsea Green Finds New Ally
On the March 7th episode of SmackDown, Green looked in danger of losing her Women’s United States Championship as she put the title on the line against Michin in a Street Fight. However, Chelsea Green retained the title in the match and found a new ally in the process.
In other news, a major WWE name was instrumental in having New Jack included in the next video game.
