Chelsea Green has displayed her gratitude to this former WWE talent.
A part of WWE since 2023, Green has remained one of the most popular faces in the company. However, her popularity soared through the roof when former ring announcer Samantha Irvin introduced a brand new way of calling out and introducing Green’s name during her entrance and victories.
The distinctiveness and individuality that the ring announcement brought forward helped boost Green’s career and popularity amongst the fans. The current Women’s United States Champion, Green, recently appeared on Pro Wrestling Experience, and opened up on her unique ring announcement. Heaping praises on Irvin’s work, Green further went ahead and paid her gratitude to the former WWE star.
“All the time and I love it. It never gets old. I thank Samantha for everything that she did for my entrance because it is amazing. And seriously, whether you’re really good at doing it or really terrible, it gives me a feeling and I love it. That’s the whole point of wrestling, right? The point is to feel something. Feel anything. Whether it’s good or bad, just feel something. And that’s what we get.”

While Irvin left the promotion last year, her legacy remains as current announcers, Alicia Taylor and Lilian Garcia try to maintain that same creativity.
Chelsea Green Has Outlined Her Dream WWE Entrance Featuring Grammy-Award-Winning Artist
During her recent appearance at NASCAR’s Pennzoil 400 race’s press conference, Chelsea Green discussed her dream WWE entrance with Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely.
“I haven’t thought of this as the United States Champion. You’re putting me on the spot, I love it. I’ll say, first of all, Cardi B has to sing me out. I’ve got a great entrance song, and I feel like Cardi B would be the perfect person to sing me to the ring. But we’re gonna need everything iconic American, and I’m gonna need a little time to think about that.
But it would be me dressed as the Statue of Liberty, flanked by maybe more than just my two Secret Hervice women, maybe a whole squad of suited-up women escorting me down the ramp, and then we’ve gotta have typical American things. We have to have big flags. Maybe we have a NASCAR car. It’s gotta be real American. That’s all there is to it. I’m gonna come up with a list, though, so that when my boss asks me, I know how to answer that question.”
