Following her departure from WWE, Chelsea Green now has a list full of exciting new opponents.
With promotions all around the world working together more and more often in recent months, Green’s list of prospective dream matches has increased enormously.
Since leaving WWE, Chelsea Green has launched a new podcast called 50 Shades of Green. During a recent Twitter Q&A for the podcast, the former IMPACT Knockouts Champion was asked who she would like to face in AEW.
The answer was simple and to the point. Hikaru Shida.

Since being released by WWE in April, there has been no concrete news on where Green will land next. However, along with a number of fellow recently released stars, Green was featured in a promo video for IMPACT Slammiversary. While IMPACT’s current Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo has also said that she would like to see her friend re-sign with the company.
In the weeks following her release the former NXT Superstar has revealed a number of pitches she made during her time in WWE. One of these pitches would have seen Green morph into her ‘Hot Mess’ character and join forces with The Fiend and Alexa Bliss.
Meanwhile, AEW’s longest reigning champion Hikaru Shida is set to defend her title at AEW Double or Nothing. It was recently announced that AEW Women’s World Champion will clash with Britt Baker at the pay-per-view. The Japanese star has held her championship for almost a year, after winning the belt at the 2020 edition of the event.
