Chelsea Green Reveals Regrets From Her Time On WWE Tough Enough

Chelsea Green

Former WWE Superstar Chelsea Green has opened up about her appearance on WWE Tough Enough.

Back in 2015 Chelsea Green appeared on the sixth season of Tough Enough. The series would eventually be won by Joshua Bredl and Sara Lee. Green was eliminated in episode seven.

Fellow WWE Superstars Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville and Velveteen Dream would also emerge from the show.

Reflecting on her time in the competition with Chris Van Vliet, Green said she focussed too heavily on winning the contract at the end of the show rather than entertaining people.

“I do think my downfall in Tough Enough was that I was so tunnel vison on getting the contract, that I forgot about entertaining people. That show, we needed to entertain. I wasn’t going to be involved in drama or get involved in a silly storyline. If I could re-do it, I would go in all guns blazing. That was why Mandy [Rose] was so perfect for that show. She entertained us and came out with a contract.”

Following her appearance on Tough Enough, Green would go on to sign with IMPACT Wrestling, before returning to WWE in 2018.

Green would remain with WWE until being released on April 15th 2021.

During IMPACT’s recent Rebellion pay-per-view, Green appeared alongside numerous other recently released Superstars in a promo video for Slammiversary.

IMPACT took a similar approach to advertise last year’s Slammiversary event, teasing that the likes of Drake Maverick, Mike Bennett, Kurt Angle and more could appear on the show. Whilst most were just simple teases, others followed through as Heath, Eric Young, The Good Brothers and EC3 all made appearances.
