Chelsea Green Reportedly Holds Contract Talks With IMPACT

Chelsea Green

Ever since Chelsea Green was released by WWE in April she has repeatedly been linked with a return to IMPACT Wrestling.

Green initially appeared with IMPACT from January 2016 to January 2018, before leaving to join WWE. However, it has now been reported that there have been talks between the two sides over a potential return. Writing in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter,Dave Meltzer noted that Green and IMPACT have held talks although no deal has yet being reached.

“They were in contract talks with Chelsea Green this past week but as best we know no deal was closed at press time.”

Following her WWE release, IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo spoke of her desire to see Green return to IMPACT. Purrazzo said that “IMPACT is where I want her to be.”

Interestingly, on the most recent edition of IMPACT, Green was once again teased as a potential new arrival at Slammiversary. This time, alongside the likes of Daniel Bryan.

While Green is yet to commit to her next in-ring move, the ‘Hot Mess’ has launched her own podcast and conducted numerous interviews since her WWE departure.

During one such interview, Green dived into her ‘bucket list’ of goals outside of the wrestling business. In conversation with Metro.co.uk, the former Knockouts Champion revealed that she wants to be killed in a horror movie as well as posing for Playboy.
