Chelsea Green made a huge announcement after receiving death threats

Chelsea Green has the backing of the people and of Delta Airlines.

On the November 8th episode of SmackDown, Nick Aldis made the blockbuster announcement that WWE would be introducing a new Women’s United States Championship. Triple H soon shared his thoughts on the new title, writing on social media:

The women of WWE continue to show that they are the very best in the business. The Women’s United States Championship will showcase their continued effort. So, who’s going to step up and take it?

On November 15th, Triple H revealed the full bracket for the tournament to crown the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Champion, and that bracket includes former Women’s Tag Team Champion Chelsea Green, who is set to take on Bianca Belair and Blair Davenport in round one.

Green has been actively hyping up the tournament on social media, and in one post, she shared a video of a Delta in-flight announcement hailing her as the next Women’s United States Champion. The announcement went as follows:

“Special announcement this morning, we have on board Miss Chelsea Green. She’s our future WWE Women’s United States Champion. She also hit 1 million followers on Instagram. Thank you for choosing Delta Miss Green. It’s a pleasure to have you on board this morning.”

The video also showed Green’s response to the announcement, declaring:

“The people love me!”

Chelsea Green Reflected On WWE Return

During a recent interview with Gorilla Position, Chelsea Green compared her current WWE run to her previous stint in the company, saying this current run is everything she ever wanted.

“I feel like this is everything I wanted the first go around. And, you know, when they say ‘everything happens for a reason,’ I truly feel like I’m living that. There was a reason that I got released, and then I went out and explored every avenue of the indies. I came back, and now I’m doing exactly what I want.
