Chelsea Green Pitches Dream Match Against WWE Champion With Major Stakes

Chelsea Green is open to a match against a fellow WWE Champion that would see the winner make history.

Still reigning as the first-ever Women’s United States Champion following her victory at the returning Saturday Night’s Main Event in December, Green is looking to make her first singles championship win in WWE one to remember. With that in mind, the SmackDown star is preparing to put it all on the line if she gets a shot at the top women’s star on the blue brand.

Speaking with Kev on Sans Restriction, Green stated that her dream match would be a title vs. title match against Tiffany Stratton which would also see the loser leave the brand:

“My dream, dream, dream would be me vs. Tiffy Time. Loser leaves and winner takes all.”

Green and Stratton have unfinished business after the WWE Women’s Champion pushed Green off the ladder at Money in the Bank, denying Green the opportunity to capture the briefcase.

Chelsea Green Pitches New Character

One of the most entertaining performers on WWE TV each week, many have praised Green for being able to maximise her minutes whether she is given 2 or 20.

Although Chelsea Green has portrayed a light-hearted character on TV since her arrival in the promotion, the Women’s United States Champion previously pitched a potentially darker persona:

“Of course. I mean, I would love to be the Diva Killer. I mean, I would love an open challenge, Divas Only. The Diva Killer, I’ll invite Maryse. I already put it out there into the universe. I will invite Nikki. I will invite Brie. I will invite any diva that wants to come and attempt to take my beautiful, shiny piece of jewelry away from me.”
