Top WWE star Chelsea Green got busted open during WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. While many thought it was a minor injury at the time, that doesn’t seem to be the case. A Hall of Famer also commented on the matter.
Chelsea Green went up against her arch-nemesis Zelina Vega in a bid to recapture the Women’s United States Title. Both stars fought an intense battle that saw Green get busted open during the encounter. She went on to lose the match.
However, in a X/Twitter post later in the night, the inaugural Women’s US Champion stated that she suffered a broken nose during the match.
“Me tonight !!! It’s absolutely INSANE!!! I was like “Whaaat just happened?!” The ref turns to me and I thought he said “You won” but he said “Your nose is broken” and I was like “WHAT” and he said “Your nose is broken” !!!! and I was like “WAIT—EXCUSE ME?!” I’m not even mad though. Well, I am mad, but it’s the kind of mad where you have to laugh because you KNOW you were robbed !!! And I was like… IS THIS REAL LIFE OR AM I ON A HIDDEN CAMERA SHOW ??? I literally turned to the ref and said “You’re kidding me right?” but no, apparently not. He said “You have to go to medical because your nose is broken” It’s okay though because BIIIG things are coming… and y’all know I’m never down for long !!! Stay tuned !!! P.S. Thinking about bangs !!! P.P.S My nose really hurts !!!” Green wrote.

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus added insult to Chelsea Green’s injury
Following Chelsea Green’s horrific injury and subsequent meltdown, Trish Stratus sent a message to the star on X/Twitter. She offered Green an important part of her closet.
Stratus, who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, offered the former US Champion her face mask. The legend has introduced the mask twice on WWE programming, in 2004 and 2023.
The Hall of Famer replied to Chelsea Green, offering her face mask with the comment:
“I have a face mask that you can borrow.”

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea Green will accept her offer and whether she will miss any TV time because of the injury.
